Realizing that cost is one of the main factors in keeping newcomers from trying out RC hobby, we decided to create a new series on Props & Wheels: "BUDGET RC". In these episodes, we will share with you the great deals we find: either used or NOS (new old stock) RC aircraft, vehicles and equipment.

This episode features a fantastic, high-quality RC deal (we call it a "steal") from a name brand: a Blade mCX2 from Horizon Hobby. Brand new, these helicopters sell for around $100. I found this deal listed on eBay for $33 shipped to my door. So, for one third of its original price, I got myself this micro, 4-channel, beginner-friendly RC helicopter.

Sadly enough, this Blade model had been discontinued at the posting of this video. However, used ones as well as spare parts are still available.
