At The Field #03 - Specter 700, Protos Nitro, and a Kingtech Turbine

Back at the field again and brought with me both 700s and the XL550.

I got two flights in on the Specter 700 (only one on video), and I'm still loving flying that heli. It's smooth, it's quiet, it's agile and lightweight. The EgoDrift Tengu motor puts out tons of power while remaining extremely cool and the RotorTech Ultimate 700 main blades are beautiful and perform extremely well at all RPMs, and at 1800rpm I get very long flights with plenty of authority to spare.

Three flights on the Protos Nitro, which is flying absolutely fantastic and is quickly becoming my favorite helicopter to fly. The YS91 SRX with PowaTune Kit is producing gobs of power, thanks again to Tom Shin for his constant willingness to help me as I'm still not great at tuning. Wonder if he's getting tired of "how's the tune sound?" yet ;) The helicopter is locked in and crisp, and the new KST HLS servos are pushing those blades around with authority. I can definitely feel the difference between the servos I was using before (KST MS725, around 18Kg.cm of torque) and these (around 30Kg.cm of torque). Not a huge difference but it is noticeable. The XL550 is showing some weird vibration/resonance that I need to figure out. I brought two batteries for it, but only ended up flying one, because just in case there's something wrong with it mechanically I didn't want to risk crashing it. I'll be taking a look at it this weekend and see if I can figure out what's causing it.

I got a new mic for my videos, just a standard lav mic with a big fluffy wind screen. Since the point of this series includes me speaking more, I wanted to try to reduce wind noise and improve the sound quality.
