Takeoff from a mission site in Southgate Park, Crawley.
The AW169 is a 4.5 tonne class twin-engine helicopter. It combines high levels of performance and long range safety features ensuring operational capability in the most challenging environments such as Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) mode for mission-readiness with rotors stopped.

Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex is an organisation providing emergency medical services through the provision of a helicopter air ambulance covering the three English counties of Kent, Surrey and Sussex which are served by the South East Coast Ambulance Service. The helicopters are funded by the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust (KSSAAT) which is a registered charity. They help over 2,500 people in life-threatening conditions every year and operate 24 hours a day every day of the year, for 18 hours of the day with two crews, for the remaining six they operate with one crew. AAKSS uses two AW169 (G-KSSC and G-KSST) and one MD902 (G-KSSA). The MD902 is used if either of the AW169s are undergoing maintenance or servicing.
The helicopter in the video (G-KSST) was built in 2016.
