Two F-5 Tigers and an F-18 operating from Meiringen airbase in the Unterbäch municipality in the canton of Valais.

The F-5E and F were using the callsign HERON21 and HERON22, the F-18 ROOKIE31 and ROOKIE32. These jets are from Fliegerstaffel 11 or Staffel 11 (Tigers) and was shot on Wednesday 1st May. Take off was approximately 1:30pm for the F-5s and 1:35pm for the F-18s. They returned around 1 hour later.

Just listen to the afterburners echo around the valley on take off. Jet Fighter heaven.
