Over 45 entries for 2WD Buggy at this club meeting, here is your top 10 in the 5 minute A-Final. Watch some of the best drivers in New Zealand duke it out for maximum championship points. Top spec chassis including Team Xray, Kyosho, Team Yokomo, Team Associated and Schumacher are needed to handle these speeds and forces.
The class has a 10.5 turn minimum wind limit (ROAR, EFRA or IFMAR approved), and use blinky speed controllers (ESC). With blinky on, there is no dark magic tuning of the timing - pretty much the same as some full size motorsport classes where there is a 'control' ECU. However drivers are still able to buy the brand of ESC that they prefer with blinky being an industry standard. As you can see, these are quick and powerful cars - that require very skilled operators, and this is where you'll find the most skilled ~ the A FINAL.
Drivers completed x2 qualifying rounds, with their single best finding the split (A,B,C,D or E) and starting grid position.

Huge thank you to AIRCCC for their on going support, it was great to see so many drivers attending a club meeting. With drivers attending from Whangarei, Hamilton and the wider upper North Island - it's a great venue with some great atmosphere.

R/C Racing is a great family sport, and located at Action Indoor Sports in West Auckland is a great venue for racing and also spectating. Free entry, light snacks and drinks at the counter - with plenty of seating around the courts it's a great way to spend an hour or 2 with the family:
