Watch me perform the maiden, second and third flight on the Freewing twin 80mm EDF A-10 Thunderbolt II (or Warthog)... What a gentle giant !! This is one huge rc plane and it shows... it flies so well!
I had had the Freewing A-10 in my crosshairs for a long time now, but when I recently found it for cheap during a sale event, I couldn't help myself and finally bit the bullet and pulled the trigger, haha!
This is pretty different from the type of jets I usually fly. Certainly more stable, less pitchy and offering amazing flight times... but despite the jet being a more conventional design, it's still capable of rather hardcore aerobatics, which I started teasing here, but will dig more into in the next video, keep tuned!!!
These were the 3rd, 2nd and 1st flights (In that order) on 'Luna' as I decided to name my new A-10. :')
