So this winter I got into Radio Controlled cars and recently 4wd buggies and have been having a blast racing mostly on carpet. Decided to go try my skill on the clay with the homie Bashers United and ended up almost winning my first race after botching the qualifiers earlier. 2nd place but it shows me more than anything of what I can do. I've learned a lot in the short few months on the ground, the most important is staying calm even when things are going wrong. Well this race started off horrible... but yet I didn't let it get to me and moved on from it and ended up almost bumping out to the A main. I didn't, but my friend did and I'm ok with that... this time LOL. I lost the race on the first lap mostly due to anxiety which I still am working on (I just need to race more) but once I calmed down I think I did pretty damn well minus a few easily correctable incidents. I love this track but prefer the traction of carpet. Gonna upgrade from this car and send it a little more!
