20241223 What a close match! 5 Mins M Chassis Comparison M07 M08 M01 XM01 Cero Mini 4WD

I drove several different M chasses to see how fast the new XM01 drives compared to my other M chasses.
The result was simply incredible!

How each car felt to drive
XM01
Incredibly stable but strong understeer (but with low grip tires the car is less understeer), but the longitudinal performance is definitely the best of all, making me feel like I am lauching a Rocket!
M07 R
as always struggling with accelerating, also rear swings a bit too much. not so fun to drive
M07 Concept with locked diff
compared to M07 R a lot faster both on longitudinal and lateral directions, as if totally different chassis. Still unkown why this big difference is there between them
M08 Concept with Yeah Racing hopups
after going through several tunings, the car now feels a lot better, but still difficult to consistently drive fast. Still need more traction on the rear axle
M01
It drove in fact pretty much like M07 R, poor traction and slightly swinging rear, which I did not expect
Cero Mini 4WD
I did not feel particuarly "wow fast!" but rather "soooo smooth". But in reality this car was the fastest of all. Good balance between longitudinal and lateral performances, I suppose

Post test thoughts
I somehow managed to finish most of the runs with 311s, either 22 or 24 laps.
I never ever thought of this coming, considering how different each car drove.
