My third trip to the Southeastern Model Show (SMS) was another great trip for me. The event is held at the Georgia National Fairgrounds each year and fills up three HUGE buildings with individuals selling their RC items. You will also find several vendors while there.

I enjoy the show because I get to see hundreds, if not thousands of RC models and RC related merchandise. For the past two years I have been collecting older RC items for display in my workshop and this year was great for that as I picked up a few older Futaba and Tower Hobbies radios, a Cox free flight helicopter, and some VERY OLD Aviation / RC magazines from 1947.
