Welcome to Round 6 of the NHRCCC 2021 Championship for Front Wheel Drive Touring car class. These cars look great, and today the racing was a match. We have DMAZ from North Harbour Radio Control Car Club calling out a live commentary ~ doing a great job (please do more of this DMAZ!), unfortunately he was meant to be racing in this final himself.
These are 1/10th scale like the other touring car models, but the body shells are more realistic in scale. The biggest part of making it look right, is that the tyre diameter better matches the roof and bonnet line.
The "Xpress Execute FT1S 1/10 Sport FWD Touring Car" Kit is an inexpensive model to get started in this class

CHASSIS
Any commercially available 1/10th electric FWD Touring chassis or 1/10th conversion kit.
DIMENSIONS
As per NZRCA 1/10th EP touring car dimensions, except weight to be 1250grams minimum including body shell, battery and transponder
TYRES AND WHEELS
Any 24mm slick tyres mounted on a spoked rim. NO DISH RIMS are allowed. Schumacher Carpet Dragons if racing at Action Indoors Sports Waitakere.
MOTOR:
ROAR approved 21.5t Brushless motor (540 sized)
ESC:
Any commercially available brushless ESC which must be either "Stock Spec" or "Blinky" mode with clearly visible blinking light on the ESC. If there is no blinking light then the race director reserves the right to disqualify the drivers.
Spectating is free at NHRCCC, BYO chair and table. There are food outlets near by.
